She’s embedded in the midst of this 1977 reggae documentary from Shanachie @ 33:58 ☺.
It’s a bit propagandistic at the beginning but the film contains some great footage of artists in the studio as well as interviews, with background on Reggae in cultural context. Jimmy Cliff seems to re-hash all his hits in one nondescript song at 21:14. Lots of shots of shanty town landscapes blowing with trash and a strange excremental view of vinyl being pressed into a record (25:25). The film-maker is Jeremy Marre. You have to like Reggae to care about this film. Parts of it remind me of that SNL Eddy Murphy reggae skit (Kill all de white people !) the doc is very similar to Heartland Reggae.
