Verse longs to fly with the tropical birds
Copulative verbs mate, airborne, with words.

Love’s grammar structure brings conjugal bliss
(Language is satisfied with one long kiss . . . )

Lyric conception makes pregnant pauses
Subject pronouns seek indirect clauses.

Speaking in tongues; and without all pretense—
In the Present: perfect (and Future tense).
