Then the king shall do according to his own will: he shall exalt and magnify himself above every god, shall speak blasphemies against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the wrath has been accomplished; for what has been determined shall be done. He shall regard neither the God of his fathers nor the desire of women, nor regard any god; for he shall exalt himself above them all. But in their place he shall honor a god of fortresses; and a god which his fathers did not know he shall honor with gold and silver, with precious stones and pleasant things.

Daniel 11:36-38

Yes ! Let us worship the God of Fortresses and offer him gold, silver and precious things. Let us praise the molten idols of Babylon and Assyria as we cavort with the daughters of Moab and Canaan. First though, we must offer unholy incense before the Lord, as the sons of Korah did. Then we will drink the wine of the wrath of the fornications of the great whore from the temple vessels before we fall down and worship the image set up by the tyrant, to the sounds of the horn, flute, harp, lyre, and psaltery, in symphony with all kinds of music. And verily, we shall sanctify and purify ourselves so we may enter into the gardens to eat swine’s flesh and the abomination and the mouse.  After that we can receive the Mark of the Beast!
