Messianic Authenticity

Q: What do you call a Yehudi who, by faithful study of holy Ketuv’im (such as Tanakh, Torah, and Tehillim) recognizes that Yeshua of Nazareth is the Moshiach (מָשִׁיחַ) foretold by Moshe, by King David and all the Nevi’im ?

  1. And now? I really don’t think I’ve ever known one to label one. My view is from a distance. Kind of blurry. lol

My post is a response and a challenge to the idea of “Hebrew Roots” Christianity and it is directed toward Zionist Evangelicals ( I used to be one ☺)

      • Yeah, me too, I guess. I see it a little different now. I don’t hate Jews for being Jews though. I do hate politics and Zionism is political more so than spiritual. I do believe in a spiritual Zion, a homeland for God’s people, Jew and Christian, each chosen and called out according to His purpose and nor because any of us are so special or perfect or the end all to His plan for returning His Creation to Himself. And I don’t want to argue with anyone about it lol I gave up long ago trying to unite with others under the banner of any theology. Jesus is my theology and that’s enough. I used to be a lot of things and I’m thankful not to be any of them any more lol amazing how we shed identities as we grow in Christ. Part of the process of becoming more like Him, I guess.
