I voted for that real estate tycoon twice, I’m ashamed to say. But 3rd time around I was done. He is a dangerous tyrant now, all his campaign promises hot air.

We put too much trust in those guys…but I voted for him too, it isn’t like we’re presented with good choices, clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right. We’re over our heads in uncharted waters now…

I am interested in your commentary.
This year’s participation in NaPoWrMo was a bit strained for me. I tried my best, but I also found myself at wit’s end trying to post poems by the end of the day. I also was annoyed and at times enraged by the lib-progressive nature of the prompts. It produces rebellion and provocation in me.

It was a hard time for you but I think you remained Chado. It would be hard for me. I only write according to my own drum…never have been very competitive…I like this one because of how the Christian faith is used to justify unjustifiable actions, like war, invading another country…and the blacking out of certain passages is how scripture is read by such people, looking for the parts that support their actions and ignoring the rest. So today, our national debt exceeds GDP. Harder times are coming…

Funny, that prompt was an easier one. The whole idea of “Blackout Poetry” is postmodernist silliness at best, but it is hard to go wrong if you start with Habakkuk… I am glad you found some relevance in it.

Well, I guess it’s because I’m not so formulary edumucated ;0) and I used to know someone who did that to their Bible so they could only read with what they agreed with lol and it probably has to do with my current political mood…
