Call me a bigot if you must, but I happen to object to an ideology that mows down gays in a nightclub, that tosses them from a tower, that stones women to death, that crucifies children. Wake up people, before it’s too late. These aren’t Christian values that are threatening us.

Thank you for the reblog. It’s absolutely maddening to me, there are dozens of commentaries right now declaring “Christians are evil too” and “not all Muslims are like this.” It seems so simple to me, one group follows a God that commands us to love our neighbor and the other group is told they must prove their worth and value by killing infidels. These two things are not equal! A hate filled Christian is an aberration, a hate filled Muslim is simply earning his place in heaven.
And heaven help us, morons in this country are actually being lead to believe that the LGBT lobby and the Islamists are on the same team…..fighting against the oppressive Christians! That’s a kind of stupidity that just takes my breath away.

It is a reflexive reaction.
They are programmed to respond that way. Look one in the eye and say “Islam” and they will immediately begin fulminating about “the Crusades”, “crazed anti-abortion shooters”, “Rightwingchristianextremists as bad or worse…”
It works predictably every time.
